Take the XS for evenings and the days you carry almost nothing. The S for everyday - it is the one most sisters reach for first. The M when you are travelling, walking the medina, or heading down to the sea. Same hands, same banana leaf and raffia, the same six days of weaving. Only the rhythm of the day changes.
Three sizes, three kinds of day
In our Guéliz atelier, the women weave each La Sculpture from banana leaf and raffia, by hand, in runs of about fifteen. One basket holds roughly forty-eight hours of work, spread across six days - so when we offer three sizes, it is never to multiply the same bag. XS, S and M each answer a different kind of day. The body, the edge, the handle, the way the strap finds your shoulder - all of it shifts with the scale, and so does the way the bag sits against you as you move. To choose your size is to choose your rhythm.
XS - for evenings and light days
The XS is the small one with the loudest character - compact, sure of itself, made for the days you carry almost nothing. A phone, a key, a lipstick, a folded note. I reach for it at dinners, at summer weddings, with a long dress and bare arms, on a slow walk through Guéliz as the light turns amber. It comes in Hot Red, a small run of about fifteen. Clip on a fruit charm Fatima crochets by hand and it becomes a little joy swinging at your hip. Light, spirited, sun-struck.
S - your everyday companion
When a sister asks me where to begin, I send her to the S. It carries the presence of a true handbag and still folds into ordinary life - phone, wallet, sunglasses, a thin scarf knotted at the strap - without tipping over into beach scale. We weave it in Deep Violet, again a run of about fifteen. This is the one that becomes a habit before you notice: morning errands, an afternoon café, dinner, and the same bag on your arm through all of it.
M - for travel, market and beach
The M is the generous one. It opens for a pareo, a water bottle, a paperback, a small pouch - whatever the day decides to ask of you. This is the bag for the souk at midday, for the long train south, for the sand. Woven in Black Olive, a run of about fifteen, it holds more without losing the line, and it carries exactly the same handwork - only with room to breathe. Roomy, unhurried, warmed through by the sun.
What actually fits inside
Numbers on a screen never quite tell you how a bag lives against the body. So picture it instead: a phone, a wallet, sunglasses, a tube of sunscreen, a thin scarf. The XS keeps you to the essentials and nothing more. The S holds a full everyday with ease. The M takes a whole beach afternoon and asks for nothing back. Across the rest of the wardrobe our fits run free from XS to XXL too - because here, from the first stitch, it has been movement over measurement.

FAQ
Most sisters begin with the S - it carries a full everyday and still feels light on the arm. Choose the XS if you want it mainly for evenings, and the M if you travel often or live near the sea.
Yes. The XS was made for your essentials - phone, key, lipstick, a folded note. If you also want to carry a wallet, sunglasses and a scarf, the S is the easier fit.
Of course. Fatima crochets each fruit charm by hand in raffia, and they sit at home on the XS, the S or the M alike - choose the one that makes you smile.
