You bring the cloth across your waist and tie it - that is the whole of it. Loose, with a plain top, they read as morning and ease; with gold and a fruit charm, they walk you to a late table. The Jawhara drape lets the shape slide between skirt and trouser as you move. Size-free, XS to XXL - we cut for movement, not measurement.
A shape from home
I grew up on one street in Guéliz, where my family has stood for three generations, beside my father's Rotisserie de la Paix. The wrap belongs to that street - cloth tied to the body, worn by women I have watched my whole life cross to the market, to the door, to the bus. In the atelier we never wanted to copy it as a costume. We wanted to keep its ease and its honesty - and to let a woman from anywhere step into it without dressing up as someone else. Rooted in Marrakech, crafted for everywhere.
The wrap shape gives movement
A wrap pant is never quite the same twice. Walking, it falls like a skirt; sitting, it gathers into a trouser; loosen the tie and it softens, draw it close and it finds a line. The Jawhara answers the body instead of holding it still - fluid, light, a little alive in the heat. That is why it belongs to summer: it bends with the sun, the shade, the long table at golden hour.
How to tie them
The first time it looks like a puzzle; after that, never again. Bring the cloth across the front, cross the ties behind your waist, knot them back at the front or the side - high for a cleaner line, low for a softer drape. There is no wrong way once it sits where you want it. Two minutes at the mirror and your hands keep it for good.
The hand detail
Look closely at the waist and you will find Amazigh letter beading, set bead by bead by the women of our atelier. It is small, easy to miss - and the part I love most. A quiet word in our own alphabet ⵣ, carried into a trouser you will wear far from this street. Made by hand, never by machine, and the better for it.
How I wear them
With the pink, I keep the top plain and let a raffia fruit charm - hand-crocheted by Fatima - speak at the ear or the throat. With the black, I reach for gold and one sculptural piece, nothing more. The rule, if there is one: let the wrap lead, and keep the rest quiet around it. Hot Red for the loud days, Black Olive for the still ones.

FAQ
Yes. They are size-free and fit XS to XXL. The wrap ties to your own waist, so the shape follows you instead of asking you to follow it - movement over measurement.
Not after the first time. Cross the cloth at the front, tie behind your waist, knot it back at the front or side - high or low, where you like it. Two minutes at the mirror and your hands will keep it.
No. With a plain top they read as easy daytime; add a little gold and a fruit charm and they walk straight to a late table. They are cut to move through the whole day with you, sun to golden hour.
