La Vaguelette was designed for summers in the city. This "city bag" basket is perfect for slipping in your iPad Pro as well as your sunscreen. Thanks to its expandable construction, it offers an amazing capacity to carry all your essentials.

Ultra original, it brings a modern and chic touch to any outfit. Each piece is a real jewel, entirely handmade in Marrakech by Berber women, apprentices in leather goods and experts in basketry.

After having imagined, created and made iconic La Vague, YZA wanted to go further. More creativity, more audacity, more beauty.

Talented craftswomen

Fatima, Bouchra, Latifa and Naima work from home, with fibers found near their house. They are basket weavers from generation to generation. An artistic profession that is not learned at school.

Art & Materials

We use white Doum from Marrakech, the most beautiful and strongest. Our lambskin comes from stocks of major brands to reduce our consumption. My craftswomen are trained in leatherwork in our workshop in Marrakech.

For the planet and women

The palm tree must be cleared of its dead leaves to continue growing. No machines are used, the sun is used to dry the leaves. Basketry is one of the most ecological crafts that exists.

Durable & easy to maintain

We use natural materials that live! In the sun or over time, the Doum browns, the leather acquires a patina. The Vaguelette, however, remains ultra-solid and elegant over the years. You can offer it to your children!
